On 29 of November 2013 during the official visit in Lithuania the Chairman of the CIBA Aslan Omer Kirimli have had the meeting with the heads and representatives on crimean tatar expatriates in Lithuania as well as with entrepreneurs and businessmen of two Lithuanian cities - Vilnius and Trakai.
As a result of series of meetings a decision was taken to set up representative office of Crimean International Business Association (CIBA) in Vilnius with purpose to extend its activities and execution of joint long-range cultural and business projects.
Furthermore, during the visit to Trakai - a place of compact and historical inhabitation of Lithuanian tatars - a meeting has been held with a Trakai regional self-government mayor Vitatus Zaletskas and director of self-government administration Asta Kandratavichene.
Together with Mejlis of Crimean Tatar Peolpe and CIBA the parties expressed readiness to develop cultural and economical relationship.
The first step to cooperation was an offer to erect in Trakai a monument to the founder of Crimean Khanate Hadji Gerai who was born in this city as well as to open a cultural center. Crimean International Business Association will participate actively in execution of this initiative.
